Fire Safety & Extinguisher Training
Basic fire extinguisher training for staff
Duration: around 3 hours
This course is intended to train staff to tackle a small fire in safety using portable fire fighting equipment. Course notes and attendance certificates are provided.
Syllabus:
Theory of combustion - The basic combustion theory including the triangle of fire.
Classes of fire & fire extinguishers - Classes A, B, C, D, E & F fires and the correct extinguishing media.
Use of fire fighting equipment - Do's and Dont's of fire fighting and limitations of portable fire fighting equipment.
Practical Fire-Fighting - Use of fire extinguishing/hose reels on real fires.
