The Alarm Receiving Centre (ARC) provides services via the following methods:
BT RedCare
The Redcare Classic solution sits on a dedicated phone line, signals are then polled frequently to ensure there are no faults with the communication path. Flexibility allows for GPRS - mobile technology to work alongside a standard telephone line as back-up. If one of the lines is tampered with the other continues to monitor and raise any alerts.
Redcare Secure utilises GPRS as primary and landline (PSTN) as secondary path for alarm transmission, Redcare Secure also provides for an IP signalling solution.
Redcare conforms to the latest police policies (ACPO and ACPOS) and complies with European Standards for alarm signalling up to Grade 2, which is a medium level of protection.
Please NOTE with Redcare, you have to organise a dedicated line to be installed by BT before monitoring can be initialised and connected.
DualCom
Dualcom is a dual-signalling device that uses both the Vodafone network and a landline/or IP path to transmit intruder, fire and personal attack signals at high speed.
Dualcom is a single hardware platform which fits every grade of security requirement, from Grade 2, 3 and 4 Security installations to high specification fire signalling. Dualcom is a cost effective solution to dual signalling alarm monitoring.
This affordable technology has the ability to transmit an unlimited amount of information for one annual fee, meets all insurance grades and can share existing phone lines or network including the ability to be combined with IP Signalling.

Digital Communicator
This is an entry-level product, Alarm signalling with the use of a digital communicator is the most cost-effective means of response alarm monitoring. Signalling via the telephone the digital communicator doesn't need a dedicated phone line.
This is a single path only system i.e in the event of a ‘line fault', signals would not be received into the control room until the problem was rectified.
The entry-level communicator can include: -

• Entry and exit reporting for businesses
